The Sacramento County Probation Department has been consistently
working to successfully embed Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) throughout its
operations. Probation facilitates multiple evidence-based interventions
and provides EBP-related support, department-wide. In addition, Probation
works with Community Based Organizations to build and maintain quality EBP
capacity in the community, as well as assesses and coordinates referrals to
those organizations providing evidence-based services to offenders. EBP
enhances probation services across both the juvenile and adult systems of care,
and quality assurance and fidelity of evidence based interventions,
assessments, and strategies are monitored and evaluated.
